Addis Ababa, Hamle 8, 2018 E.C. (July 15, 2026):- The performance review and evaluation discussion of the 12-month plan for the 2018 fiscal year, which is being conducted at the sector level by the Addis Ababa City Roads Authority, is actively continuing.
Departments under the Regulatory Sector of the Authority held discussions regarding the major achievements recorded and challenges encountered over the past 12 months.
Present at the forum to deliver concluding remarks, the Director General of the Authority, Engineer Muhdin Reshad, stated that the operations executed during the 12 months of the budget year have been highly productive.
The Director General added that moving forward, it is crucial to resolve issues related to right-of-way enforcement by strengthening collaborative efforts with stakeholders more than ever. He emphasized the need to launch new, uncommenced road projects and finish them ahead of their scheduled timelines.
For his part, Engineer Tamrat Tadese, representing the Deputy Director General of the Regulatory Sector, noted that numerous tasks were accomplished at the sector level during the 2018 fiscal year. He further stated that monitoring and supervisory activities will be intensified to ensure road construction projects are completed with high quality and speed in the upcoming 2019 fiscal year.
