In addition to regular and seasonal road maintenance works, the Addis Ababa City Roads Authority is carrying out emergency repairs to safeguard the city's road network and ensure smooth traffic flow.

Until regular road maintenance resumes during the dry season, emergency repairs are underway across various parts of the city to navigate the rainy season, specifically targeting locations that pose challenges to traffic movement. Among these areas is the road section located at the roundabout commonly known as "22" (Haya Hulet).

The Authority respectfully states that, as always, it gives due attention and provides prompt responses to constructive feedback and reports received from the public in good faith and with a sense of ownership.

Conversely, because information based on speculation rather than facts creates public misunderstanding, the Authority takes this opportunity to remind the public of the importance of cooperating by refraining from disseminating unverified information.

It is worth recalling that in the past 2018 fiscal year alone, asphalt road maintenance covering more than 145 kilometers was carried out to protect the city's road network.
