Authority Employees Participated in One-Day "Plant Hope" Green Legacy Program
Leadership and staff of the Addis Ababa City Roads Authority carried out a one-day Green Legacy initiative under the theme "Plant Hope" across various parts of the city.
The Director General of the Authority, Engineer Muhdin Reshad, officially launched the one-day Green Legacy program at the Ayat Tafo location in Lemi Kura Sub-City, Woreda 2.
The Director General noted that beyond road construction, the leadership and employees of the Authority were fulfilling their responsibility by making their mark through the Green Legacy initiative. He added that under that year's program, all leadership and staff members planted over 10,000 seedlings.
The Green Legacy program was part of a nationwide effort in which 800 million seedlings were expected to be planted in a single day.
