Ayat Chefe Condominium Road Construction Completed and Opened to Traffic
Addis Ababa, July 24, 2026 (AACRA): The Addis Ababa City Roads Authority has completed the internal road construction project at the Ayat Chefe Condominiums and opened it to traffic.
The road project was constructed in-house by the Eastern Road Construction Project Office. It covers a total length of 2.1 kilometers, consisting of 1.2 kilometers of asphalt and 910 meters of cobblestone.
Currently, the asphalt paving and cobblestone laying works have been completed, and the road is open for traffic. Work is also underway to fully complete the remaining pedestrian walkway projects.
The Authority is actively working in various areas to ensure residents of condominium housing complexes benefit from road infrastructure development.
