Urgent Spot Repairs Underway Across Critical City Roads
Maintenance crews are actively repairing collector roads across various parts of the city that have been eroded by heavy rains and rendered hazardous for vehicular traffic.
According to the Authority, recently restored stretches include the corridors from Wuha Limat to Capital Hotel, Bisrate Gabriel to Minaye Building, and the British Embassy to Dinberwa Hospital, as well as the route locally known as Lafto Belay.
Temporary patch-up operations will be continuously stepped up across problematic stretches throughout the city as a stopgap measure until the rainy season subsides and full-scale, routine road maintenance resumes.
